After a rocky start, careful work by Dr L and [name removed]rs [name removed] meant that I started to move in the right direction towards discharge. They have made a real effort to understand me as an individual and accommodate me when I have been in a bad headspace and unable to articulate clearly. They took time to involve my partner in my care also, which was a huge turning point.

Because I think this ward is the best in this hospital.

The only thing we could to do better is change some of food on the menu e.g. the vegetable are overcooked.

Help from the doctors has been good.

Heating in the bedrooms. Food needs improving. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. Washing tablets smell awful.

the medication they gave me worked

the consultant who prescribed my medication called me fat - 'this medication can make you put on weight and I'm sure you don't want to put on any more weight' - bearing in mind I'm already feeling suicidal. I then said I have low cholesterol and he said 'i find that hard to believe'. crisis team didn't take my suicidal thoughts seriously - they ask how i feel, i tell them and they do nothing. I asked to be discharged as a result. i wanted emotional support and validation but also suggestions for how i could get better - they did neither. i opened up a can of worms telling crisis how i feel and then they did nothing and left me to deal with it.

constant contact was good, they kept an eye on me and just everything was good

one instance where someone came to my flat without asking and then my daughter who wasn't aware of the situation found out which wasn't good i didn't want her to know.

Very responsive, its not my first time with crisis team, easy to access. its good in general. I was happy upon discharge. expectations set well at the start.

could have encouraged me to not be passive in my recovery - could have encouraged me to be proactive and use my voice to say what I want. you let me be passive.
